My name is Lukis this is my first time using my net book since last year. I'm a year 6 and I am in room15. There were 31 kids in room fifteen last year but now
there are 35! which is a lot.

I like being back at school because I like to play with my friends , and play on my net book.

I cant wait for camp to begin its going to be lots of fun and there might be lots of people. There will be lots of sports around like rugby which is my favorite and all kind of other sports. I need to improve my reading because that's why i might be in the same class, but i don't mind because i might go to a higher class next year.

Field trips are coming up I wonder where will we go? The production will be coming up, You sign up but you have to have the x Factor .Ppeople are going to sign up for glee you will have to see Miss M.

Today we wrote a different kind of story each line was written by a different person and no one knew what any one else had written here is my story.


I can see my mum.

I can hear lava coming out of a volcano.

I can smell pizza.

I am in Australia.

I am swiming.

Stardome

Earlier this week we went to Stardome for a field trip. We travelled there by bus and it
was a bumpy noisy ride. While we were there we decided to go for a walk up One Tree Hill.

There were deep craters and as we got to the top we were exhausted with tiredness. While we were at the top people were taking photos. It was windy and my hat flew of my head but luckily it didn't fly of the hill. When we were done up there we went to one of the craters where we went last time and what we did there last year was still there.

First moon landing

As you first step onto the moon you just might feel butterflies in your stomach. When I walked on the moon I moved in slow motion. It's very hard because you don't walk as fast as on the earth.

When I was waiting to get out of the space craft I was pretty excited. I’m saying “this is my first time” as I keep repeating, I just want to bust my way through the door. Now as I wait for the last minute I finally get to go.

Spectacular NZ

The Rugby World Cup is bringing lots of tourists to New Zealand, but there is more here then just a cup!

The indigenous people are Maori like Maui. New Zealand has many multi-cultural just like Maori, Canadian, Australian all sorts of them.

Only in New Zealand there would be Kiwis,Fantail and Tuatara. Our most native animal is a Kiwi,
they are the most special bird in New Zealand.

So if you a rugby games here to see some of the 48 world cup rugby games, remember to also take time out to inspect more of our stunning country.

Cross Country

Guess what we did on September the 7th on Wednesday? You get to go in to four groups there names are Takitumu,Tainui ,Te Arawa and Mataatua, only four yr1's up to yr6. It is cross country!

Starting off wasn't a good start as other people sprinted. As I started on the grass it was harder for me to run. There was a road of shells which was noisy. There were pukeko’s pecking. I could smell muddy creaks which were smelly and there were tree’s which were reflecting the sea.

As I was running I felt a bit nervous because my brother was going to beat me. As soon as I came down the hill I could feel my brother hammering his feet as he was running and he was getting beaten.

At the end my brother tried to come past me, but the time for my brother was gonna end. I was sprinting as fast as I could in hot pursuit to the finish line. We came a tie. I felt proud with completion.

Mesmerising Australia

It’s only a short hop, skip and a jump across the Tasman Sea to Australia, but there is a world of difference in what you will find there.

In Australia there is a variety of cultures. The indigenous people of Australia were the first people there, they are the Aborigine people.

Australia’s native animal is the Kangaroo. It is a big animal, which can weigh over 100kg, they carry their babies in a pouch and instead of walking they hop.

The climate in Australia is warm and cold. Countries have coastal differences, like Australia because they have deserts.

So if you are fortunate enough to make the journey, you will need to allow plenty of time to explore all that Australia has to offer.
